A football tournament involving more than 50 teams returned to the place where it was first started three decades ago.
The Inner City World Cup returned to Wanstead Flats last weekend, with players proudly representing their home countries in vibrant kits.
The event saw nearly 1,000 players from 16 to 66 playing in more than 100 matches.
Children and teens made friends with peers from different communities, while those from different backgrounds gathered to enjoy the sporting event.
Founder Mark Abery said: "We were delighted to be able to bring this iconic event back to its original 1994 venue and would love to work with local stakeholders to ensure this unique event is something they are aware and proud of for years to come.
"The Inner City World Cup is widely coveted within the communities and one of the best of its type in the world."
Iraq were crowned the champions of the men's event after defeating Colombia 2-1 and the Brazilian women's team defended their title after a penalty shootout win against Portugal.
The Zimbabwe team won the Legends tournament, beating Peru to claim tournament victory.
