Inih Effiong's injury-time goal saw Dagenham & Redbridge claim their first win in 10 matches over 10-man Woking at Victoria Road.
Daggers had taken just three points from eight National League games since beating AFC Fylde, while also going out of the FA Cup at Bracknell Town.
But Ben Strevens saw his men claim three much-needed points thanks to Effiong's late, late effort.
Tom Eastman returned to the starting line-up for Daggers and the home side went close on the quarter-hour mark through Josh Rees.
But Padraig Amond fired over for Woking, after Elliot Justham needed treatment, before Frank Vincent's shot was comfortably dealt with by William Jaaskelainen.
Daggers opened the scoring on 25 minutes when Josh Hare's wonderful cross picked out Rees to claim his fourth goal of the season.
But their joy was shortlived as Reece Grego-Cox levelled four minutes later with a far-post header.
Harry Phipps had his name taken soon after, with defensive partner Eastman then cautioned on 38 minutes and Elliott Johnson fired a speculative effort just wide from range shortly before the break.
The second half was less than a minute old when Sam Ling hit a post for the home side, but Daggers had a let-off when Rhys Browne fired over following a mistake by Phipps.
Woking's Olatunji Akinola and keeper Jaaskelainen were booked in quick succession before the hour, with Freddie Sears then making way for Myles Weston in the first change of the day for Ben Strevens.
And the visitors were reduced to 10 men midway through the second half when Akinola was dismissed for a second bookable offence.
Weston cut inside and shot just wide as Daggers looked to take advantage of their numerical superiority, with Johnson replaced by Charley Kendall.
Omar Mussa was sent on for Vincent in the third and final change by Strevens with nine minutes to play, with Kendall seeing a shot on the turn held by Jaaskelainen as normal time drew to a close.
But Daggers got their reward in the fourth minute of stoppage time as Hare played the ball through to Effiong to slot home in style.
Dagenham & Redbridge: Justham, Hare, Johnson (Kendall 73), Eastman, Hessenthaler, Vincent (Mussa 81), Rees, Effiong, Phipps, Ling, Sears (Weston 64). Unused subs: Francis-Clarke, Page.
