Stretches of both the M25 and the A12 between Romford and Brentwood will be closed overnight until October for carriageway repair works.
Traffic website Causeway one.network has posted notices regarding closures on both major roads beginning today (September 22) and lasting until October 1.
A 9.24 km stretch of the M25 from junction 28 - running between Romford and Brentwood - to junction 29 between Emerson Park and West Horndon will be closed until 6.30am on October 1.
The works will begin tonight at 10pm, according to the notice.
The closure will be in effect each night from 10pm to 5.30am, Monday to Friday, including bank holidays.
A 7.1km section of the A12 from Shenfield to junction 28 on the M25 will be also be shut from 11pm today to 6.30am on October 1.
A notice from Causeway one.network said: "Carriageway - reconstruction/ repair - M25 anti-clockwise junction 29 to junction 28.
"Carriageway and slip road closure for resurfacing works.
"Diversion via local authority network."
On National Highways' website, it describes an "entry and exit slip road closure" from junction 28 to junction 29 from 10pm tonight to 5.30am tomorrow.
It says: "Overall Scheme Details: M25 Anti-Clockwise Jct 29 to Jct 28 Carriageway and slip road closure for resurfacing works diversion via Local Authority network."
