Drivers have been warned that delays are "likely" as roadworks in Gidea Park get underway.
Havering Council started works in Heath Park Road at 9.30am this morning (September 22), installing two-way lights to control traffic.
The roadworks, located close to Squirrels Heath Primary School, are expected to continue until 3pm on Thursday (September 24).
Roadworks platform Causeway one.network has warned motorists that delays are "likely" while the traffic lights are in place.
Elsewhere in Gidea Park, scaffolding put up by the council in Balgores Lane will remain until September 29.
While there is some carriageway incursion as a result of this, delays are considered "unlikely" according to Causeway one.network.
