A Brentwood tanning expert who trained with celebrity spray tanners has opened her own studio in her hometown.
Nicole Carson Spence has launched Sunkiss Society by Nicole in Crown Street, bringing with her experience from training in Los Angeles, London and Scotland with some of the industry’s top professionals.
The specialist studio is dedicated entirely to spray tanning, rather than being a general beauty salon, and offers a personalised approach to treatments.
Nicole said: "Having trained with some of the best spray tanning professionals in the industry, I’ve seen first-hand the difference that a truly personalised experience and an expertly applied tan can make to someone’s confidence.
"I wanted to bring that experience home to Brentwood, where tanning is already such a big part of beauty culture, but create somewhere that approaches it differently.
"It’s rare to find a studio dedicated solely to spray tanning, rather than tanning being one treatment on a long beauty menu.
"I wanted Sunkiss Society to feel like its own experience – somewhere welcoming and relaxed, where clients feel comfortable, their tan is designed completely around them, and they leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
"That’s really what Sunkiss Society is about."
Her training includes time spent with celebrity spray tanners such as Sophie Hague, Sam Milne and Isabel Alysa.
These artists have worked with high-profile clients including Victoria Beckham, Sabrina Carpenter, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Camilla Cabello and Megan Fox.
Nicole said her inspiration came from seeing the impact of a great tan while working behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.
She was particularly influenced by the Los Angeles approach, where spray tanning is treated as a specialist service rather than a last-minute beauty treatment.
Sunkiss Society offers a range of professional spray tanning treatments using modern equipment and premium solutions, including Dolce Glow and Vita Liberata.
Each tan is tailored to the client’s skin tone, undertones, desired shade, occasion and preferred finish.
The studio also places a strong emphasis on skin health, using formulas that deliver both a flawless glow and skincare benefits.
Nicole said: "People shouldn’t have to choose between loving the way they look with a tan and being conscious of their skin.
"Spray tanning gives us the ability to create that beautiful glow without relying on UV exposure."
