A charity cycle ride has raised nearly £10,000 to support children in poverty.
The annual event, organised by Havering's Deputy Lieutenant Nick Bracken OBE, took place on August 22, starting in Harold Wood and finishing in Mundford, Norfolk.
Riders covered nearly 90 miles to raise funds for the Atlas Foundation, which helps deprived children move from poverty towards a better future.

Mr Bracken said: "Having witnessed the great work the Atlas Foundation does in making young lives better, I am proud to be able to arrange this annual ride with my Silver Hippos colleagues to support them. I thank everyone who donated generously in terms of sponsorship money and in precious time to make it all happen safely."
He was joined by 26 members of the Silver Hippos Rugby Club, a social and fundraising group he founded.
The ride began at Harold Wood Park and followed a route through Essex, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire before ending in Norfolk. This year’s event was dedicated to Silver Hippo Dave Armond CBE, who died in April.
The Atlas Foundation has benefited 278,000 children across 21 countries.
The Silver Hippos visited one of its projects in Cape Town in 2018, where they met the foundation’s founder, England rugby legend Jason Leonard.
