A person has died after suffering fire-related injuries at Harold Wood railway station.
Officers were called to the scene just after 6.30pm on Monday, June 29.
Despite being rushed to hospital, the person later died.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious, police said.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said resources sent to the scene included an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, a clinical team manager, and an incident response officer.
London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched.
The patient was treated for burns and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Harold Wood railway station at 6.33pm yesterday (June 29) following reports of a person suffering fire related injuries.
"Officers attended alongside paramedics and the person was rushed to hospital.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical staff, the person was pronounced dead.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner. "
