Array Essex, in Shepherds Hill, has submitted a retrospective application to Havering Council for two illuminated signs, six outside wall lights and four illuminated wall panels.
According to the planning documents, the signs depict the restaurant's name and the letter 'A' above the entrance, with brass-plated letters lit by hidden LED lights.
The application is for advertising consent, and states that permission is sought between December 1, 2025 and December 1, 2029.
Agent Narch Design and Build - who drew up the proposals on behalf of Array co-owner Ozgur Eriten - said that neighbours and the local community have been "informed verbally by the applicants and they raised no objections".
It follows another retrospective application by Array for a new terrace - however this was built four years before the current owners took over in 2024.
Fatih Cay and business partner Ozgur Eriten told the Recorder that the terrace plans had been submitted "transparently" and reflect "responsibility and openness".
They said: "The retrospective planning application has been submitted transparently and in good faith as part of the owner’s commitment to regularising the site and operating fully in accordance with planning and regulatory requirements."
