An Indian restaurant in Woodford has been named as one of the best in the country for a second time.
Temple Indian Fusion located in Jubilee Parade, Snakes Lane East, was recognised as one of the country's Best Restaurants at the Curry Life Awards.
The business, which was established in 2011, offers flavours from India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
Owner Soydul Hussain said: "It's great to receive an award, and to see so many of our customers voting for us.
“I love working in this trade and in the restaurant.
"It’s a great feeling to see customers coming back time and again to try our food, we’ve got a great following among the locals.”
It is not the first time the restaurant has been recognised with the award, after it was named a winner in the Best Restaurant category in 2022.
The 15th annual Curry Life Awards were held on October 13 at the London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, Mayfair.
Curry Life Media Group Editor, Syed Belal Ahmed, said: "A major aim of the awards has always been to highlight best practice going on across the country – so that everyone has the opportunity to learn from the best - something that has always been a driving principle behind Curry Life itself.

“Over the many years we have been staging the awards, we have seen major improvements in standards and quality being offered to customers, to the point where several restaurants are now in a position to challenge for accolades such as Michelin stars.”
The ceremony celebrates the success of British curry houses, which are said to have an annual turnover of more than £4 billion according to Syed.
Keynote speakers at the awards included Secretary of State for health and social care, Wes Streeting MP who praised the businesses for their contributions and role in uniting communities.
