A restaurant in Brentwood is asking permission to extend its opening hours by up to two hours until 1am in the morning.
The Brentwood Kitchen, in Wilson’s Corner, currently has permission to sell alcohol until 8pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, until 10.30pm on Wednesdays and until 11pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
It sells alcohol until 4pm on Sundays. The permission has been in place since 2015.
The premises has now asked Brentwood Borough Council for permission to vary the premises licence to add to and extend the hours of licensed activities.

It wants permission to have live music from 8.30am until 11pm on Sundays to Thursdays and between 8.30am and 12.30am on Fridays and Saturdays.
The venue also wants permission to play recorded music from 8.30am to 11.30pm on Sundays to Thursdays and between 8.30am to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
It wants to be able to sell late-night refreshments until 11.30pm on Sundays to Thursdays and 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Brentwood Kitchen also wants permission to supply alcohol between 8.30am to 11.30pm Sundays to Thursdays and between 8.30am until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Representations must be received within the 28-day consultation period, which ends at midnight on October 22.
