An east Londoner has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a Bentley in Kent.
A 54-year-old man was held by police on Wednesday (October 2) in connection with the alleged theft of a Bentley Bentayga.
The man was detained by Kent Police patrolling in Darenth Wood Road, Dartford, after the high-value car was reported stolen from an address near Snodland in west Kent.
The luxury SUV was tracked down within 30 minutes of the reported theft, which occurred shortly after 2.30am on Wednesday.
Police followed the vehicle along the A2 with blue lights, until it stopped in Darenth Wood Road.

During a search of the vehicle, officers seized suspected signal jamming devices.
The man from east London was also arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft, and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police have issued advice for vehicle owners to prevent thefts, including keeping keys and ignition fobs out of sight and reach, and never leaving them inside an unattended vehicle.
Installing a tracker on the car and considering CCTV or doorbell cameras covering the parking area can also help deter thieves, they added.
