A man has been taken to hospital with a head injury after an assault at a home in west London.
The incident happened in Sinclair Road near Hofland Road at around 8.30am today (October 1).
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended, and a man was found with an injury to his head.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were assessed as not serious.
Another man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm – he remains in custody.
Both men are known to each other.
Police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 08:20hrs on Tuesday, 1 October to reports of an assault at an address in Sinclair Road, W14.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
“A man was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury; his injury is not serious.
“A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH – he remains in custody.
“Both parties are known to each other.
“Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.25am this morning (1 October 2024) to reports of an incident in Sinclair Road, W14.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews.
“Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to hospital.”
