A person was taken to hospital this morning after a stabbing in a quiet residential street.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were scrambled to Marlborough Gardens, in Upminster, at around 9.45am today (September 20) after reports of a stabbing.
A patient was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew, a paramedic and an incident response officer from the London Ambulance service.
They were then taken to hospital by road.
The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 9.46am today (20 September) to reports of a stabbing on Marlborough Gardens, Upminster.
"We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
"We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a hospital by road."
Havering Council confirmed in a post on X that Marlborough Gardens is closed, although it is not yet clear whether this is linked to the reports of a stabbing.
They said: "There is reported traffic disruption due to the closure of Marlborough Gardens in Upminster.
"We are awaiting updates on the road reopening."
