A motorcyclist has died after he was involved in a crash with a car in Hornchurch.
Police were called to Upper Rainham Road near the junction with Gordon Avenue at around 9.45pm yesterday evening (September 13).
They had received reports of a crash between a car and a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, died from his injuries at the scene.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene of the crash, and no arrests have been made.
A crime scene was put in place while officers dealt with the incident, and enquiries into the crash continue.
