The Metropolitan Police are continuing their appeal for information after an elderly man was injured in an alleged assault at a supermarket in Rainham.
Officers were called to a Tesco Extra store in Bridge Road at 10.38am on August 30.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were also dispatched to the scene.
A man in his 70s was found suffering from a head injury that has been confirmed as non-life threatening or changing.

Scotland Yard confirmed on August 31 that an arrest had been made in connection with the incident.
The latest from the Met has revealed he has since been released under investigation.
