Two men have been rushed to a major trauma centre following a serious crash on a major road.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called at 7.19am today (August 29) to reports of a crash on the A13 near Rainham and London's Air Ambulance was dispatched.
Two men were treated at the scene before being taken to a London major trauma centre by road, an LAS spokesperson said.
The crash has caused severe delays on the A13.

The LAS had sent ambulance crews, members of its hazardous area response team, and incident response officer and the air ambulance.
This follows reports of a serious crash involving multiple vehicles on the A13, causing "severe delays".
According to the AA, the collision involved two lorries on the major A-road near Rainham.
The A13 has been shut both ways between A1306 (Wennington Interchange) and (Ferry Lane Interchange).
Huge delays and congestion continues.
