A Romford cinema in a popular shopping centre is set to mark Indian Independence Day with a selection of south Asian films.
Vue Romford in The Brewery shopping centre will celebrate Indian Independence Day tomorrow (August 15) with films including comedy Khel Khel Mein, horror Stree 2 and action movie Thangalaan.
A total of six titles will be shown to mark the day India became an independent country in 1947, celebrating films from across south Asia.
Regular screenings will continue, including Marvel's latest hit Deadpool & Wolverine, cartoon Despicable Me 4 and romantic drama It Ends With Us.
Perry Lummis, Vue Romford general manager, said: "At Vue we pride ourselves on celebrating cinema from across the globe.

"We couldn’t be happier to be showing some of the most exciting south Asian films of the year to mark Indian Independence Day," he added.
Khel Khel Mein, a Hindi remake of Italian comedy thriller Perfect Strangers, and Tamil-language movie Thangalaan are among movies on the bill.
