A man is dead after two people were reportedly struck by a crate at a business park.
Police were called at 1.41pm today (August 5) to Suttons Business Park on New Road in Rainham following reports of two people injured.
Officers and London’s Air Ambulance attended and despite their efforts a man in his 40s died at the scene.
"At this stage, it is believed that both people were struck by a pallet or crate," a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said.

The man's next of kin have been informed, police added, and the second person was taken to hospital for treatment.
The Health and Safety Executive has also been informed.
This comes after an air ambulance was spotted in Rainham and staff at a nearby gym said they were "in shock."
