A cyclist is in a major trauma centre after being found injured in Chadwell Heath.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called at 12.20pm today (August 1) to reports of a fall in High Road.
An ambulance crew was dispatched to the scene, arriving in three minutes of the initial report coming in.
The cyclist was found with injuries and has since been taken to a major trauma centre. Their condition is unknown.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at about 12:30hrs on Thursday, 1 August to reports of an injured cyclist on High Road in Chadwell Heath.

"The rider has been taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition."
Road closures are in place in the wake of the incident, with High Road blocked by police in both directions between Station Road and St Chads Road.
Bus services 62, 86, 173, and 362 are running on diversion as a result and will not be serving all scheduled stops.
