A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a woman was injured in a crash.
Police were called to Broxhill Road close to the junction with Willow Mead shortly after 7.30am yesterday morning (June 3).
An ambulance crew treated a woman, aged in her 50s, at the scene before rushing her to hospital.
A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to police, he was taken to hospital as a precaution and has now been bailed.
Havering Council posted to X following the crash, and said that Broxhill Road was closed in both directions.
The authority added that drivers should “avoid the area”, as the road was expected to remain shut for most of the morning. The road was re-opened later that afternoon.
Metropolitan Police have been contacted for information regarding the injured woman’s condition.
