The family of a young woman from Romford who was killed in a car crash have paid tribute to her.
Ellie-Mae Hill died in hospital after the car she was a passenger in crashed at the junction of Pipps Hill Road and Oak Road in Billericay on April 25.
The 19-year-old was one of four people in the car at the time of the crash, which Essex Police have confirmed involved no other vehicles.
Her family have issued their tribute just more than a month after her death.
They said: “A granddaughter, a daughter, a sister, an auntie and a niece – our Ellie was well-loved by all who knew her. Taken far too young at just 19 years old.
“Ellie was always fun and had an infectious laugh. She was a beautiful, kind soul and is deeply missed by all her friends and family.
“She was hard working and travelled into the city every day for her job and loved meeting her friends at weekends.
“She was a real foodie and loved good food and nice restaurants with friends and family but most of all, always happy and loved life.

“From a young age Ellie showed a passion for fashion and makeup which later meant the family would get their own hair and makeup artist on special occasions.
“She was very talented and lived life but it ended far too soon.”
The investigation into her death is ongoing, with police renewing their appeal for information to help the process.
Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from around 12.40am on April 25 is asked to contact Essex Police by submitting a report on their website, or calling 101, quoting incident 34 of 25 April.
Two men, 25 and 19, were previously arrested by police on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The 25-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
The 19-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink and drugs. He has been released on bail until Sunday, June 9.
