The Metropolitan Police are investigating a fire at a home in Collier Row.
The London Fire Brigade's call centre received five calls about the fire at a home in Chase Cross Road on May 19.
Around 40 firefighters from Romford, Harold Hill, Hainault and surrounding fire stations were dispatched to the scene at 8.17pm.
Crews spent almost three hours trying to put out the fire, which destroyed the roof of the two-storey home.

There were no injuries reported.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade has confirmed they are investigating the cause of the fire with the help of the Metropolitan Police.
The Met has been contacted for a comment.
