A person has been rushed to hospital after a crash near a sixth form college, prompting road closures in the area.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called to Wingletye Lane in Hornchurch at 12.49pm today (May 5) to reports of a collision on the road.
Havering Sixth Form College and Upminster Bridge station, close to the scene of the crash, had disruption on its nearby roads.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene," a LAS spokesperson said.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to hospital”.
Delays have been mounting on nearby roads, including Upminster Road, after the crash was reported by the AA at 12.52pm today.
Minster Way near the sixth form college was also reportedly congested after the crash earlier this afternoon.
We await an update from the Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade which both had crews pictured at the scene.
