Smoke was seen billowing from disused garages in Chadwell Heath last night.
London Fire Brigade received more than 20 calls reporting the blaze in Broomfield Road at around 7.53pm on Tuesday (April 30).
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were deployed to the scene.

A range of derelict garages were mostly destroyed by fire and a garden shed in an adjacent property was also slightly damaged, the brigade said.
No injuries were sustained in the incident.
Fire crews from Dagenham, Ilford and Romford Fire Station brought the blaze under control by 8.57pm.
The cause of the fire is yet unknown and a probe has been launched.
Images and video clips on social media showed thick black smoke filling the air.
