A man has been taken to hospital as a priority after being found with facial injuries in Upminster.
Police were called at 12.26am today (April 23) to reports of an injured man, 29, in St Mary's Lane, Upminster.
The man was found with facial injuries, police said, and taken to an east London hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of his injuries," a Metropolitan Police spokesperson added.

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) also attended after being called just after police at 12.29am.
"We sent an ambulance crew to the scene, and took a patient to hospital as a priority," a LAS spokesperson said.
The AA reported nearby Corbets Tey Road shut due to an "emergency services incident".
Slow traffic and delays along the B1421 going towards Upminster Station on Station Road have been ongoing. A detour has been in place for the 370 bus in Upminster.
