A police cordon remains in place after a man's fatal stabbing in Dagenham yesterday.
Metropolitan Police were called by London Ambulance Service at around 1.30am on April 20 after they found a man with stab injuries in Rothwell Gardens.
Another victim with more critical injuries was traced by officers at Flamstead Road after their initial enquiries. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the 23-year-old man died at the scene.
The other man, Met Police said, had suffered non life-threatening injuries and was discharged from the hospital. He was later arrested in connection with the murder.
