A probe has been launched after a fire broke out in a block of flats in Harold Hill.
London Fire Brigade were called to Kingsbridge Circus in Harold Hill yesterday (April 11) at 8.02pm to reports of the blaze.
Part of a three roomed flat on the third floor of a housing block was damaged by fire.
No injuries were reported, but people on social media claimed that residents of the block were evacuated.

The fire was brought under control by firefighters by 8.30pm.
Crews from Harold Hill, Romford and Hornchurch fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is yet unknown and is under investigation.
The incident came on the same day as another fire was reported in the church hall close to St Andrews CoFE Parish Church in Romford.
