Plans for a new jet wash bay at a Tesco Extra, bright signage at a Harvesters and new housing are among the many planning applications submitted to the local authority over the last week.
Havering Council has received over 36 applications for a variety of developments in the borough.
We have summed up the most notable applications and included them for ease below:
- A new jet wash bay has been proposed at the existing Tesco Extra service station at Hornchurch Road. The bay is for manual washing of vehicles and there are currently no other jet wash bays at the site. (P0277.24)
- An application (P0279.24) was put forward for a two-bedroom terrace with associated parking and amenities, following the demolition of an existing single storey side extension at Henbane Path, Romford.
- The council also received an application for advertising at The compasses Harvester on Abbs Cross Lane, Hornchurch. This would involve an internally illuminated post sign, internally illuminated letter and logo set, non-illuminated letter sign and an internally illuminated double sided welcome sign. (A0008.24).
- It’s proposed to extend and change the use of an existing office building at Station Lane, Hornchurch, to residential use and constructing a two-storey building to provide eight apartments. This includes one three bedroom flat, six two-bedroom flats and a one-bedroom flat – all with private and communal amenity spaces, onsite parking, a new boundary wall and cycle and bin storage. (P0284.24)
- Another application (P0163.24) proposes the construction of two one-bedroom flats with associated secured refuse and cycle stores at South Street, Romford.
- At St Marys Lane, Upminster, an application (P0126.24) asks to construct a single storey two-bedroom dwelling for four people.
