A man has been charged after a suspected murder at Harold Wood railway station yesterday.
British Transport Police (BTP) were called at around 4.30am on Tuesday (February 27) after a member of station staff saw a person badly hurt and lying on the ground outside the station.
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service attended alongside BTP, and officers found a man with extensive injuries.
Despite the efforts of ambulance staff, he was declared dead at the scene.
Officers arrested a man after the incident and held him in custody.
Miles Skai, 22, of Brent Cross in Hendon, is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court today (February 28) charged with murder, British Transport Police said.
A crime scene was put in place following the incident and forensics investigators were seen on site gathering evidence.
