Harold Wood station has been reopened to the public after it was shut in the early hours of this morning (February 27) following an alleged murder.
Transport for London announced on X, formerly Twitter, that the station reopened at around 2.49pm.

Earlier forensic officers were seen in a tent set up outside the station as officers combed the area for evidence.

An investigation was launched after officers found a man with extensive injuries after 4.30am at the station today.
Despite the best efforts by medics, he died at the scene.
British Transport Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder and he is being held in custody.
Officers said this was believed to be an isolated incident and they are not looking for any more suspects.
