Two stars of BBC soap EastEnders are set to open a Costcutter store in Brentwood.
Jake Wood and Ricky Norwood will be opening the branch in The Keys, Eagle Way in Warley on Saturday (December 2).
The store, formerly a Morrisons, has had £150,000 refitting works to be converted into a Costcutter.
Peter Patel, store owner, said he was "elated" that Jake, who plays Max Branning in the BBC soap, and Ricky, who plays Fatboy, would be part of the opening.
“Our whole team is really excited about the store launch and elated that Jake Wood and Ricky Norwood are coming to cut the ribbon," Peter said.
"It’s taken lots of hard work to get to where we are and will be wonderful to celebrate the opening," he added.

Peter, who owns 10 shops across south-east England, said this Costcutter is one of four that his company Zola Group has bought from Morrisons.
The opening day will include donations to mental health charity Thurrock and Brentwood Mind.
