A bowls pavilion and former green looks set to make way for football pitches after plans were granted by Havering Council.
These would be two seven-a-side football pitches to extend Powerleague Romford, King George's Playing Fields, Eastern Avenue West.
Applicant Powerleague Fives Group had its proposal, to demolish a bowls pavilion building and replace a former bowls green to make way for two football pitches, approved on November 22.

The council received the application (P0949.23) on June 16 and validated it a day later.
Plans also involve fencing, lighting, hardstanding and covered cycle parking.
Under the council's conditions and reasons for accepting the plans, it shows the proposal pertains to extra facilities at Romford Powerleague, which would not affect the usual operating hours of 8am and 10.30pm.
