Romford's first Pret is set to open after signage was spotted in a busy shopping centre.
Romford will have its first Pret A Manger in The Liberty, it was announced today (August 25).
It is set to open this September, next to bookshop Waterstones and music and entertainment retailer HMV.
Pret said it would create 20 jobs within the town centre.
David Taylor, Conservative councillor for St Edwards in Romford, welcomed the move.
"Romford has a fantastic mix of local businesses and big chains, this is what makes a strong high street," he said.

Tom Stobbart, centre manager, said he was delighted to welcome Pret to its line-up of eateries to serve people who live and work in the area.
Pret, which secured a ten year lease on the 3,445 square foot unit, is looking for charities to donate surplus food to at the end of each day.
Interested charities should contact The Pret Foundation via Pret.FoundationUK@pret.com
