New primary schools are proposed for Romford and Rainham, but we looked at the existing ones in the borough to find the schools that are outstanding or need improvement.

Romford special school appoints headteacher ahead of opening
There are currently no Havering primary schools rated as requires improvement or inadequate by Ofsted.
*This article was updated on March 22 at 12.50pm. It previously listed Olive Ap Academy in Hornchurch as a 'requires improvement' primary school. Its provision is actually for 11-16 year-olds.
