Romford’s Johnny Fisher refused to discuss how much quicker he was than fellow domestic heavyweight contender David Adeleye in dispatching Dmytro Bezus.
The 24-year-old stopped the Canada-based Ukrainian in the first round in Las Vegas on Saturday.
And the 'Romford Bull', appearing on the undercard of Conor Benn's victory over Peter Dobson, was not keen to give his opponent more ringtime after Adeleye took a round longer to stop the 34-year-old in a WBO European title contest at York Hall last March.
Fisher impressed on his Stateside debut as he trapped Bezus on the ropes late in the first round with a powerful flurry of head shots before referee Robert Hoyle halted the scheduled eight-round bout at 2:51.
"Every fight night is different,” Fisher told DAZN after his 11th straight professional success.
“Every Dmytro Bezus that turns up will be slightly different so I don't take anything from my performance or his performance, it's just the way it is.
“Everything's different on the night. I've got to worry about myself, David Adeleye has got to worry about himself and we all have to do the right thing and be good sportsmen and we all fight eventually one day."
And it was well worth the money spent by his loyal 200 fans, who took the long flight to the glittering American casino city to see their hero in victory.
"For me look at how many people I brought out to Las Vegas,” added Fisher.
“Every single one of these people paid their hard-earned money to travel here. And some people don't bring this to a show in London.
"I've brought them all to Las Vegas and that shows how loyal all these people are. These are all my friends and all my family. Every time I step into the ring it's all of these guys are here."
Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn has ambitions for the former Marshalls Park and Coopers Coborn pupil in the next couple of months as he is keen to see his world-class heavyweight boxing prospect headline either an English or British championship contest at two of London’s largest indoor arenas.
"I'm starting to talk about a world-class heavyweight prospect,” Hearn told DAZN. “He’s not just a bloke from Romford who sells tickets and that is going to give him the opportunities.
"He is going to fill arenas in the UK, particularly in London. But now I'm looking at a guy that is a real international heavyweight prospect. Someone that came into the sport very raw but he's now a seasoned fighter that's got the experience.
"Bezus is a tough guy, there's going to be tougher tests but at six foot eight he came to win but he got bowled over by the power, the size. We know he has a good chin but he's adding every different dimension to his game now as well.”
Fisher is due out on April 13 at Manchester Arena on the undercard of the huge Jordan Gill and Zelfra Barrett featherweight showdown.
"I want to see him back April 13 in Manchester on the undercard then I want to see him headline in London in the summer,” Hearn added.
“We've got to keep him active. He's been a little bit unlucky with little injuries and hand injuries and we haven't been able to keep him as active as we like.
"So I like to get some kind of schedule together where everybody can get excited and plan their next trip on the road not quite as far in Manchester in April 13 and then the headline in London.
"I want to see that as an English or British heavyweight title eliminator. This is exactly the kind of guy should be fighting for the British heavyweight championship. He will sell out the Copper Box (in Stratford), he will sell out The O2 (in North Greenwich). You can image him in all those kind of fights against David Adeleye and Fabio Wardley, they are all coming."
Brentwood middleweight Jimmy Sains also impressed on the Las Vegas bill, blasting out Texan-Mexican Alejandro Avalos with a huge right hand after 2.47 of round one.
The 23-year-old, who advanced to 3-0, was pleased to get the win on his American debut but found the whole occasion surreal.
"I wanted a clean cut knockout but I got the win which was the main thing,” Sains told DZAN.
"I can see his (Avalos) chin was right up in the air so I just tried to tuck up, waiting for that perfect moment and landed in the first round.
"It doesn't feel real that I'm here (in Las Vegas). I'm trying to take it all in but it’s a great venue and was a great opportunity. Big thanks to my main man Eddie (Hearn) and also a big thanks to Tony (Simms, trainer) as well for putting me on the card.
"Not many people 3-0 can say I got 3-0 in Las Vegas, so I'm over the moon to be honest.”
