Harold Wood and Shenfield will meet in the final of the Essex Under-16 Matchplay at the Cloud County Ground, Chelmsford on Friday August 18.
Harold Wood qualified for the final with an empathetic 10-wicket victory over local rivals Hornchurch last Sunday.
They bowled first after dreadful weather on Saturday and captain Saad Ali Baryar (2-15) struck immediately with two wickets in the opening over.
Wood's other opening bowler, Freddie Sheehan (3-8), also had early success as Hornchurch slumped to 28-5 and Aditya Singh came on to take 2-5.
Hornchurch were only able to post 77 from their 40 overs and Sheehan opened the Wood batting with Yusuf Farooq, who had recently recovered from a season-ruining injury.
The pair batted serenely without drama as Wood reached their target in the 12th over without loss.
"It is the first time the club has reached this flagship final and everyone at the club is very proud of the work put in by both players, coaches and managers," said a spokesperson.
The match starts at noon and is free to attend, with supporters welcomed.
