A new beauty shop has opened at a shopping centre in Romford.

Bodycare welcomed its first customers to the new store in The Mercury Mall on Monday (October 14).

Located on the ground floor, in between Cex and Excel Kids, Bodycare stocks products from leading skincare and beauty brands.

A spokesperson for The Mercury said: "Bodycare are passionate about delivering quality brands, both big and small, to you and your family at prices you’ll love."

The brand was launched in 1970 by Graham and Margaret Blackledge at a market in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

In the 50 years since, they have opened 130 stores across the country, as well as creating a "hassle-free" online beauty shopping experience.
