Two men were found with stab wounds in a residential road in Harold Hill last night.
Emergency services went to Retford Road at around 10.45pm on Tuesday (August 13) to reports of an assault.
Police found a man in his 20s, with stabbing injuries to his arms and legs and another man with "severe stab wounds" who was also involved in the incident.
Both men were taken to hospital by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, although neither man's injuries are thought to be life-threatening.

Part of the road was closed off after the incident last night, and a crime scene remains in place today (August 14).
The Metropolitan Police have said that an investigation is ongoing.
A spokesperson said: "Police were called at 22:48hrs on Tuesday, 13 August to reports of an assault on Retford Road, Romford.
"They found a man in his 20s had been attacked with stabbing injuries to his arms and legs.
"Officers found another person involved in this incident in the area, also with some severe stab wounds.
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD8589/13AUG. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
