A man was hospitalised after an alleged assault in a residential area of Harold Hill.
The Metropolitan Police were called at around 9pm on Tuesday (April 16) to Coltsfoot Path to reports of the incident.
Officers attended and found the man, aged in his 30s, suffering injuries.

He was taken to hospital, the Met said, but has since been discharged following treatment.
An investigation is ongoing by detectives from the local CID team. No arrests have been made.
Officers have urged anyone with information on the assault to contact the police on 101 quoting CAD7126/16Apr.
