A male has been robbed at knifepoint on a high street by a gang of four people.
Romford Town Police said on X, formerly Twitter, today (January 28) that a male was approached by four other males on Victoria Road, Romford, one of whom with a knife.
The gang of four stole a mobile phone and cash yesterday (January 27) from the male at 7.40pm in the outer London town, police said.
Victoria Road has a wealth of shops and is closely connected to the town centre.

Police have since appealed for more information, posting to X today at 2.20pm, to find out more about the robbery.
Elsewhere in Romford was quiet, police reported.
"[There were] no burglaries or vehicle crime reported overnight," it was added.
