Primary school pupils who raised thousands towards the care of sick children have been rewarded with the chance to enjoy a new activity venue.
The year 3 class at Towers School in Hornchurch were awarded a trip to leisure venue Oxygen ActivePlay in Spilsby Road, Harold Hill, for a physical education lesson (PE).
Oxygen has today (December 22) opened after a £1.3 million investment in the site, which was formerly Jump Evolution.
Oxygen has 60 interconnected trampolines, a giant airbag, climbing walls, and a soft play area.
Towers School was chosen after Oxygen received 17 applications from schools in the area.
The class of seven and eight-year-olds raised £8,480 towards the care of sick children at Great Ormond Street Hospital through a sponsored bike ride in the rain.
Ben Peach, Oxygen manager, said: "When we told the school they had won they were over the moon.

"We can’t wait to welcome the class from Towers Junior School to our incredible new park," Mr Peach added.
Interactive sports pitches, a trapeze swing, an extensive climbing area and Oxygen's signature "excite" tunnel are just a few attractions the Year 3 class will be able to enjoy.
