A home has been praised for its "brilliant Christmas display" which has brought joy to residents.
The house on Wednesbury Road in Harold Hill can be seen above with a dazzling lit roof, illuminated trees, a snowman, Grinch and a Father Christmas.
Dave Curtis, who knows the homeowner, said the Christmas house has brought the Harold Hill community to together.
"Harold Hill has its problems but as a community you can't fault them," said Dave. "They all come together when needed - they're fantastic."

Dave added that the homeowners will be cooking Christmas dinners for some people who would otherwise go without this year, funded by donations from those who appreciated the display.
"They [the homeowners] are concentrating on the community a bit more as times are hard for a lot of people," he said.
"They make a great effort on the house," Dave added.
