Multiple road closures have been put in place across Havering to carry out gas mains replacement works.

Havering Council published public notices of the said works in the Recorder stating the list of roads that are likely to be impacted and the duration.

The cycle lane on London Road in Romford will remain closed both sides from its junctions between Lonsdale Avenue and Coombewood Drive between 7am to 6 pm until February 16.

Burlington Avenue in Romford will not be accessible at its junction with London Road between 7am and 6pm from until December 3.

Closures have been announced in Crowlands Avenue in Romford at its junction with London Road from 8am to 5pm until December 15.

Craigdale Road in Hornchurch will be shut at its junction with Brentwood Road for the same hours until December 17.

Proposals are also made to shut London Road (western and eastern side banjo) from its junction with Jutsums Lane to Southern Way between 7am to 6pm on December 4 to December 16 daily.

These closures could be removed sooner if the works are completed earlier than the said dates.
