A woman who was injured in a car crash in Romford has suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Metropolitan Police were called at around 7.13am on Thursday (August 17) to reports of a collision involving two cars in Pettits Lane.
London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service attended the incident.
Dramatic images on social media showed an overturned car at the scene.
BBC Radio London Travel had tweeted that A12 was blocked partially at Pettits Lane North while the emergency services dealt with the crash.

A woman was taken to hospital and a spokesperson for Met Police has now confirmed that her condition has been assessed as not life changing. Her injuries are said to be minor.
Enquiries into the crash are still ongoing.
Officers have urged anyone with information to call the police on 101 quoting reference 1384.
