A major road was closed while police investigated a pile-up early this morning.
Police were called to a crash involving several vehicles on the A12 in Bow at 12.16am.
The A12 East Cross, from Wick Lane in Bow to Wick Road in Hackney Wick, was for accident investigation work.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 12.16am on Friday, May 19 to a collision involving a number of vehicles on the A12.
“There were no reported injuries.”
The A12 East Cross route is now open and delays are easing, said BBC Radio London Travel.
This was one of two crashes that happened within two miles of each other this morning.
In the other a man was hit by a police car was responding to an emergency call in Hackney.
The vehicle hit the pedestrian at 1.41am in Stoke Newington High Street.
The Metropolitan Police said the man, who was hit near a police station, was taken to hospital and later discharged.
The A10 has been reopened at Amhurst Road after an earlier northbound closure following the accident, said BBC Radio London Travel.
