A man who attacked a takeaway restaurant worker in Chadwell Heath has been given a suspended sentence.
Ramonas Kmielioska, of Straight Road in Romford, was found guilty of assaulting a man who was working at the Spice Hut in High Road.
The 35-year-old appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Friday, March 24, where he was given a 26 week prison sentence to be suspended for two years.
The incident took place on July 6, 2021, while Kmielioska was under the influence of alcohol.
At the Spice Hut he carried out a sustained attack against a member of staff and even used a chair as a weapon, the court was told.
Kmielioska was ordered to pay £250 in compensation, a victim surcharge of £154 and £620 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The court also ordered that he must abstain from consuming any alcohol for 120 days.
