Almost 20,000 votes were cast during polling for the Havering Small Business Awards finalists.
The awards scheme celebrates the contributions of independent businesses in the borough and received more than 4,200 nominations over a two-week period this year.
Voting closed yesterday (March 29) for the three finalists in each of the nine categories, including best takeaway and best social enterprise.
Havering Council said the finalists received a whopping 19,116 votes in total.
There is also a special Havering Small Business of the Year Award that will be chosen from the category winners by a panel of judges.

A council spokesperson called residents' support for businesses "overwhelming".
Councillor Ray Morgon, leader of Havering Council, said: “I am delighted by the response to the awards and want to thank everyone that took the time to nominate and vote for their favourite Havering businesses.
“These awards reflect the positive role that all our businesses play in shaping, improving and supporting our borough’s bright future.”
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in May at the Premiere Cinema in Romford.
