Train services in Barking and Dagenham will be impacted this weekend as disputes over pay and working conditions continue.

Transport for London (TfL) and c2c will both be operating reduced services across part or all of their networks with the second day of a 48-hour strike planned for tomorrow (December 17).

The UK is currently gripped by industrial action across multiple sectors, including nursing, postal workers and driving examiners, as well as rail workers.

The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) general secretary Mick Lynch said he had attended talks convened by the rail minister Huw Merriman on Thursday night (December 15), which included Network Rail and the Rail Delivery Group, with further discussions agreed.

However, he said “in the meantime, all industrial action remains in place”.

Here is what the train providers are saying about services in Barking and Dagenham over the weekend.
