West Ham United were handed a trip to Premier League rivals Brentford in the third round of the FA Cup in January, when the draw was made live on BBC TV this evening.
And in-form National League side Dagenham & Redbridge will host 2021 FA Cup winners Leicester City - the boyhood club of captain Matt Robinson - if they can overcome Gillingham in a replay next week.
Premier League leaders Arsenal, who have won the competition a record 14 times, will travel to League One side Oxford United looking to avoid a giantkilling, while north London neighbours Tottenham will have home advantage when they take on another League One side in Portsmouth.
Pompey boss Danny Cowley led non-league club Lincoln City to the quarter-finals of the competition back in 2016-17, beating Premier League side Burnley at Turf Moor along the way, before they suffered a 5-0 defeat against the Gunners.
Championship side QPR, having seen manager Mick Beale join Scottish giants Rangers earlier in the day, were handed a trip to League One outfit Fleetwood Town.
The 32 third-round ties will be played over the weekend of January 6-9, with winners picking up £105,000 in prize money.
