A vet is hoping to turn a former Harold Hill gym into a new practice.
Nomfundo Ndlwana submitted the plans to Havering Council to construct a new two-storey clinic in the vacant lot previously used by Heavenly Ladies Gym & PT Studio.
A single storey extension is also planned behind the existing building.
According to designs submitted as part of the application, the proposed clinic would include both a cat ward and a dog ward, plus facilities including operating theatres and a pharmacy.
The space, in Petersfield Avenue, is not far from another vets, Hillpark Veterinary Group, located on the other side of Central Park.
If approved, work is expected to start in April 2023, and to be completed by August that year.
Ms Ndlwana said she did not want to comment on her plans at this stage.
View the application on Havering Council’s planning portal using the reference P1746.22.
